Fans at Wednesday's non-league contest between the Beau Chene Gators (Arnaudville, LA) and the host Academy of the Sacred Heart Saints (Grand Coteau, LA), observed Beau Chene's volleyball team hold off Academy of the Sacred Heart by a tally of 3-2.

The Gators (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against Delcambre (Delcambre, LA). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 2-7 record. In their last contest, Delcambre was tipped by Vermilion Catholic (Abbeville, LA), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Saints meet the Comeaux Spartans (Lafayette, LA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, September 26. Academy of the Sacred Heart will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record.
