North Carolina High School Volleyball - Anson over Chesterfield

September 25, 2024: Wadesboro, NC 28170

Fans at Wednesday's non-league contest between the Anson Bearcats (Wadesboro, NC) and the visiting Chesterfield Golden Rams (Chesterfield, SC), observed Anson's volleyball team top Chesterfield by a count of 3-1.

The Bearcats (11-4) will now prepare for their contest against Parkwood (Monroe, NC). The Wolf Pack enter the Rocky River 2A/3A contest with a 11-4 record. In their last contest, Parkwood notched a victory over Forest Hills (Marshville, NC), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Golden Rams battle the Buford Yellowjackets (Lancaster, SC) in a AA Region 5 contest, on Monday, September 30. Chesterfield will attempt to move on its 4-4 season record. The Yellowjackets enter the contest with a 5-3 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Ben Lippen (Columbia, SC).
