The Eagles/Banshees now possess a 12-6 record. They play next when they host Bardstown for a District 19 bout on Tuesday, October 1.

With the loss, Spencer County drops to 6-7 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Western Hills (Frankfort, KY) to clash with the Wolverines in a non-league bout on Thursday, September 26. The Wolverines come into the bout with a record of 11-9. Western Hills lost 3-2 in their recent league bout against Frankfort (Frankfort, KY)
