In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the host Musselman Applemen volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Broadneck Bruins.

The Applemen (19-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Martinsburg (Martinsburg, WV). The Bulldogs come into the Eastern Panhandle challenge with a 7-7 record.

Next, the Bruins play the Glen Burnie Gophers (Glen Burnie, MD) in a Anne Arundel County challenge, on Thursday, September 26. Broadneck will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Gophers come into the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 3-0 league loss to Old Mill (Millersville, MD).
