The Hickory Hawks (Chesapeake, VA) volleyball were victorious over the host Lakeland Cavaliers (Suffolk, VA), 3-0 in Thursday's league bout.
The Hawks now possess a 7-5 record. They play next when they host Nansemond River for a Southeastern bout on Tuesday, September 30. Hickory will confront a Warriors squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Oscar Smith (Chesapeake, VA). The Warriors record now stands at 6-3.
The Cavaliers (3-10) will now prepare for their match against Great Bridge (Chesapeake, VA). The Wildcats enter the Southeastern match with a 7-6 record. In their last match, Great Bridge was outscored by Western Branch (Chesapeake, VA), 3-0, in a league match.
