Louisiana High School Football - Captain Shreve tops Benton

September 25, 2025: Shreveport, LA 71105

The Captain Shreve Gators football squad scored 59 points and limited the visiting Benton Tigers to 42 in the Gators league triumph on Thursday.

The Gators now hold a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Airline for a 5A District 1 test on Friday, October 3. Captain Shreve will meet a Vikings squad coming off a 51-49 league loss to Evangel Christian Academy (Shreveport, LA). The Vikings record now stands at 3-1.

The Tigers (0-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Leesville (Leesville, LA). The Wampus Cats go into the non-league challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Leesville lost by Pineville (Pineville, LA), 28-21, in a non-league challenge.
