    • Texas High School Football - Pflugerville trounces Elgin

    September 25, 2025: Pflugerville, TX 78660

    In Thursday's league match, the host Pflugerville Panthers football squad scored a decisive 55-20 victory over the Elgin Wildcats.

    The Panthers (4-1) will now prepare for their match against McCallum (Austin, TX). The Knights enter the 5A-2 Region III District 11 match with a 3-2 record. In their last battle, McCallum was crushed by Bastrop (Bastrop, TX), 69-7, in a league battle.

    The Wildcats now own a 0-5 record. They play next when they host Liberty Hill for a 5A-2 Region III District 11 battle on Friday, October 10. Elgin will play a Panthers team coming off a 64-0 league win over Navarro (Austin, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 3-2.
