The Elm Creek Buffaloes football squad scored 59 points and limited the host Franklin Flyers to 14 in the Buffaloes league triumph on Thursday.

The Buffaloes now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Kenesaw for a D2 District 5 (8 Man) outing on Friday, October 3. Elm Creek will clash with a Blue Devils squad coming off a 48-0 league win over Axtell (Axtell, NE). The Blue Devils record now stands at 2-3.

With the defeat, Franklin drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Flyers travel to Wilcox-Hildreth (Wilcox, NE) to clash with the Falcons in a D2 District 5 (8 Man) outing on Friday, October 3. The Falcons come into the outing with a record of 3-2. Wilcox-Hildreth won 62-34 in their recent league outing against Blue Hill (Blue Hill, NE)
