The Goldsboro Cougars football team (Goldsboro, NC), was crushed 65-6 in Thursday's league bout with the host Wallace-Rose Hill Bulldogs (Teachey, NC)

The Bulldogs (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Princeton (Princeton, NC). The Bulldogs enter the Swine Valley 2A/3A contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Princeton was trounced by Midway (Dunn, NC), 73-50, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Cougars battle the James Kenan Tigers (Warsaw, NC) in a Swine Valley 2A/3A contest, on Friday, October 10. Goldsboro will attempt to better on its 0-6 season record.
