Florida High School Football - IMG Academy State trounced by Out-of-Door Academy

September 25, 2025: Bradenton, FL

The IMG Academy State Ascenders football team (Bradenton, FL), was crushed 43-7 in Thursday's non-league bout with the visiting Out-of-Door Academy Thunder (Sarasota, FL)

The Thunder (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against Faith Christian (Orlando, FL). The Lions enter the Sunshine State - Freelance contest with a 1-5 record. In their last contest, Faith Christian was routed by Joshua Christian Academy (Jacksonville, FL), 40-0, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Ascenders confront the McLaughlin Phoenix (Lake Wales, FL) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, October 2. IMG Academy State will attempt to advance on its 2-4 season record. The Phoenix go into the battle with a 2-3 record after their 44-0 non-league win over Palm Beach Christian Prep (Greenacres, FL).
