    • Texas High School Football - Seguin wallops The Colony

    September 25, 2025: Arlington, TX 76002

    The Seguin Cougars football team scored 68 points and restricted the visiting The Colony Cougars to 30 in the Cougars league win on Thursday.

    In their next game, the Cougars face the Mansfield Timberview Wolves (Arlington, TX) in a 5A-2 Region I District 3 challenge, on Friday, October 3. Seguin will attempt to improve on its 5-0 season record. The Wolves go into the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 42-27 league win over Everman (Everman, TX).

    The Cougars (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Mansfield Summit (Arlington, TX). The Jaguars go into the 5A-2 Region I District 3 challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last test, Mansfield Summit triumphed over Grapevine (Grapevine, TX), 58-14, in a league test.
