The Wildcats now sport a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Riverside for a non-league test on Wednesday, October 1. Mayfield will meet a Beavers squad coming off a 32-28 non-league win over Chardon (Chardon, OH). The Beavers record now stands at 4-2.

With the defeat, West Geauga drops to 0-2 on the year. The Wolverines travel to Rocky River (Rocky River, OH) to face the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 2. The Pirates enter the challenge with a record of 0-2. Rocky River lost 6-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Valley Forge (Parma Heights, OH)
