In Thursday's non-league outing, the Rumson-Fair Haven Bulldogs (Rumson, NJ) football squad were winner over the host Middletown North Lions (Middletown, NJ), by a margin of 28-14.

The Bulldogs now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Point Pleasant Boro for a non-league game on Friday, October 3.

The Lions (0-2) will now prepare for their game against Central Regional (Bayville, NJ). The Golden Eagles enter the non-league game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Central Regional notched a victory over Brick Township (Brick, NJ), 32-24, in a non-league game.
