West Park Panthers (Roseville, CA) boosters were happy Thursday as they witnessed their football squad topple the visiting Yuba City Honkers (Yuba City, CA), 41-14 in a league match.
The Panthers (6-0) will now prepare for their match against Antelope (Antelope, CA). The Titans enter the match with a 1-5 record. In their last match, Antelope was topped by Folsom (Folsom, CA), 53-6, in a non-league battle.
The Honkers now own a 4-1 record. They play next when they host Roseville for a battle on Thursday, October 2. Yuba City will play a Tigers team coming off a 29-8 non-league loss to Vista del Lago (Folsom, CA). The Tigers record now stands at 2-3.
