Garfield Bulldogs (Los Angeles, CA) fans exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they saw their flag football team overwhelm the host Huntington Park Spartans (Huntington Park, CA), 33-0 in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Bulldogs play the Bell Eagles (Bell, CA) in a Eastern challenge, on Friday, October 3. Garfield will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Eagles go into the challenge with a 8-3 record after their 13-12 league win over South East (South Gate, CA).

The Spartans (1-7) will now prepare for their test against Roosevelt (Los Angeles, CA). The Rough Riders come into the Eastern test with a 6-3 record. In their last test, Roosevelt was routed by South Gate (South Gate, CA), 6-2, in a league test.
