The Moorhead Spuds soccer squad scored 7 points and held the host Sauk Rapids-Rice Storm to 0 in the Spuds league victory on Thursday.

The Spuds now hold a 3-8 record. They play next when they travel to St. Cloud Cathedral for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 27. Moorhead will play a Crusaders squad coming off a 4-0 league win over Little Falls (Little Falls, MN). The Crusaders record now stands at 16-3.

With the loss, Sauk Rapids-Rice moves to 0-8 on the year. The Storm travel to Monticello (Monticello, MN) to face the Magic in a non-league game on Thursday, October 2. The Magic come into the game with a record of 5-3.
