The Apex Cougars walloped the visiting Green Hope Falcons football team by a score of 42-7 in Thursday's league test.

The Cougars now sport a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they host Apex Friendship for a test on Thursday, October 2. Apex will clash with a Patriots squad coming off a 16-13 non-league win over Jordan (Durham, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 5-1.

With the defeat, Green Hope drops to 0-4 on the campaign. The Falcons host Jordan (Durham, NC) to clash with the Falcons in a non-league test on Wednesday, October 1. The Falcons come into the test with a record of 3-3. Jordan lost 16-13 in their recent non-league test against Apex Friendship (Apex, NC)
