Camarillo Scorpions (Camarillo, CA) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Oxnard Yellowjackets (Oxnard, CA), 43-0 in a non-league test.

The Scorpions now hold a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bishop Diego for a test on Friday, October 3. Camarillo will meet a Cardinals team coming off a 34-18 non-league win over Bishop Alemany (Mission Hills, CA). The Cardinals record now stands at 2-0.

The Yellowjackets (0-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Royal (Simi Valley, CA). The Highlanders go into the challenge with a 5-0 record. In their last challenge, Royal bounced Hueneme (Oxnard, CA), 31-0, in a non-league challenge.
