The Cane Bay Cobras football squad scored 56 points and limited the visiting Myrtle Beach Seahawks to 12 in the Cobras non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Cobras now hold a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lucy Beckham for a challenge on Thursday, October 2. Cane Bay will face a Bengals team coming off a 28-21 non-league win over Bluffton (Bluffton, SC). The Bengals record now stands at 2-2.
With the defeat, Myrtle Beach drops to 2-2 on the campaign. The Seahawks host St. James (Murrells Inlet, SC) to clash with the Sharks in a non-league test on Thursday, October 2. The Sharks come into the test with a record of 4-5. St. James lost 28-7 in their recent non-league game against Hemingway (Hemingway, SC)
