The Lincoln Abes held off the host Clawson Trojans football squad by a count of 8-2 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Abes now hold a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Madison for a non-league test on Thursday, October 9.
With the defeat, Clawson drops to 4-1 on the campaign. The Trojans host Clintondale (Clinton Township, MI) to face the Dragons in a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 2. The Dragons go into the challenge with a record of 3-0. Clintondale won 36-14 in their recent non-league challenge against Hazel Park (Hazel Park, MI)
