The Hobbs Eagles felled the host Lovington Wildcats football team by a score of 47-21 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Eagles face the Goddard Rockets (Roswell, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 2. Hobbs will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Rockets go into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 28-20 non-league loss to Roswell (Roswell, NM).
The Wildcats (0-4) will now prepare for their outing against Artesia (Artesia, NM). The Bulldogs come into the non-league outing with a 2-3 record. In their last outing, Artesia was defeated by Las Cruces (Las Cruces, NM), 21-0, in a non-league outing.
