The Kalamazoo Central Maroon Giants football squad scored 30 points and limited the host Lakeview Spartans to 12 in the Maroon Giants non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Maroon Giants now sport a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Central for a non-league test on Thursday, October 9.

With the defeat, Lakeview drops to 0-4 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Harbor Springs (Harbor Springs, MI) to meet the Rams in a non-league challenge on Saturday, October 4. The Rams enter the challenge with a record of 0-2.
