The Portal Panthers football squad scored 22 points and limited the host Metter Tigers to 21 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Panthers now sport a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jenkins County for a non-league test on Thursday, October 2.
With the defeat, Metter drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Tigers host Screven County (Sylvania, GA) to face the Gamecocks in a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 16. The Gamecocks enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
