Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Lower Merion Aces (Ardmore, PA) and the visiting Conestoga Pioneers (Berwyn, PA), saw Lower Merion's soccer squad hold off Conestoga by a count of 2-1.

The Aces (7-3) will now prepare for their battle against Upper Darby (Drexel Hill, PA). The Royals enter the non-league battle with a 6-5 record.

The Pioneers now sport a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they host Parkland for a non-league match on Saturday, September 27.
