In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Lincoln Abes volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Capital Cougars.
The Abes (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Lakes (Lakewood, WA). The Lancers come into the non-league game with a 5-1 record. In their last game, Lakes nudged Mount Tahoma (Tacoma, WA), 2-1, in a non-league game.
The Cougars (1-6) will now prepare for their game against Gig Harbor (Gig Harbor, WA). The Tides go into the non-league game with a 5-1 record.
