The Grants Pirates volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Kirtland Central Broncos to 0 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Pirates now possess a 8-2 record. They play next when they travel to Espanola Valley for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 27. Grants will play a Sundevils team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Santa Fe Prep (Santa Fe, NM). The Sundevils record now stands at 2-4.

With the loss, Kirtland Central drops to 2-2 on the campaign. The Broncos host Rehoboth Christian (Rehoboth, NM) to play the Lynx in a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 30. The Lynx come into the outing with a record of 0-1.
