California High School Volleyball - Milpitas tips King's Academy

Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Milpitas Trojans (Milpitas, CA) and the host King's Academy Knights (Sunnyvale, CA), observed Milpitas's volleyball team hold off King's Academy by a count of 2-1.

The Trojans (12-3) will now prepare for their contest against Archbishop Riordan (San Francisco, CA). The Crusaders enter the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Archbishop Riordan was tipped by Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory (San Francisco, CA), 2-1, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Knights encounter the Eastside College Prep Panthers (East Palo Alto, CA) in a battle, on Tuesday, September 30. King's Academy will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Panthers go into the battle with a 0-5 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Hillbrook (San Jose, CA).
