In Thursday's league outing, the host Northfield Raiders soccer squad scored a tight 7-0 victory over the Albert Lea Tigers.
The Raiders (4-2) will now prepare for their outing against Kasson-Mantorville (Kasson, MN). The Komets go into the non-league outing with a 5-7 record. In their last outing, Kasson-Mantorville was overwhelmed by Cannon Falls (Cannon Falls, MN), 7-3, in a league outing.
Next up, the Tigers play the Pine Island Panthers (Pine Island, MN) in a non-league outing, on Monday, September 29. Albert Lea will attempt to advance on its 3-11 season record. The Panthers come into the test with a 3-4 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Faribault (Faribault, MN).
