Washington, DC High School Soccer - St. John's knocks off Archbishop Carroll

In Thursday's non-league outing, the visiting St. John's Cadets soccer squad scored a nice 9-0 win over the Archbishop Carroll Lions.
The Cadets (6-2) will now prepare for their outing against Bishop Ireton (Alexandria, VA). The Cardinals come into the Washington Catholic (WCAC) test with a 0-4 record. In their last test, Bishop Ireton was overwhelmed by Bishop O'Connell (Arlington, VA), 7-3, in a league test.
The Lions now sport a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they host Bishop McNamara for a Washington Catholic (WCAC) test on Tuesday, September 30. Archbishop Carroll will confront a Mustangs squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Leonardtown (Leonardtown, MD). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-5.
