In Thursday's non-league outing, the host Coldwater Cardinals soccer squad scored a tight 7-0 win over the Hastings Saxons.
The Cardinals (10-4) will now prepare for their test against Gull Lake (Richland, MI). The Blue Devils come into the non-league test with a 4-8 record. In their last test, Gull Lake Lakeview (Battle Creek, MI), 0-0, in a league test.
The Saxons now sport a 1-15 record. They take the field next when they host Marshall for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 30. Hastings will clash with a Redhawks team coming off a 2-2 non-league Holt (Holt, MI). The Redhawks record now stands at 4-9.
