Indiana High School Soccer - DeKalb nudges Fort Wayne North Side

In Thursday's non-league outing, the host DeKalb Barons soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 victory over the Fort Wayne North Side Legends.
The Barons (8-5) will now prepare for their outing against Bellmont (Decatur, IN). The Braves go into the Northeast Hoosier outing with a 1-13 record. In their last outing, Bellmont was edged by East Noble (Kendallville, IN), 4-1, in a league outing.
Next up, the Legends confront the Fort Wayne South Side Archers (Fort Wayne, IN) in a Summit outing, on Saturday, September 27. Fort Wayne North Side will attempt to improve on its 1-12 season record. The Archers come into the test with a 5-7 record after their 4-0 non-league win over Columbia City (Columbia City, IN).
