Maryland High School Soccer - Northwestern nudges DuVal

In Thursday's league outing, the host Northwestern Wildcats soccer team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the DuVal Tigers.
With the triumph, Northwestern moves its record to 2-0 on the campaign.
The Tigers now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Bladensburg for a Class 4A South II test on Monday, September 29. DuVal will clash with a Mustangs team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Laurel (Laurel, MD). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-1.
