Episcopal Academy Churchmen (Newtown Square, PA) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer squad knock off the visiting Lawrenceville School Big Red (Lawrenceville, NJ), 3-0 in a non-league outing.

The Churchmen (6-2) will now prepare for their outing against William Penn Charter (Philadelphia, PA). The Quakers go into the Inter-Academic outing with a 8-3 record. In their last outing, William Penn Charter by Central Bucks East (Doylestown, PA), 3-0, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Big Red play the Peddie Falcons (Hightstown, NJ) in a Mid-Atlantic Prep A game, on Saturday, September 27. Lawrenceville School will attempt to advance on its 0-5 season record. The Falcons come into the game with a 5-1 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Perkiomen School (Pennsburg, PA).
