Robbinsdale Cooper Hawks (New Hope, MN) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Fridley Tigers (Fridley, MN), 5-2 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Robbinsdale Cooper advances its record to 2-6 on the year. The Hawks travel to Hopkins (Minnetonka, MN) to play the Royals in a Class AA Section 6 outing on Saturday, September 27. The Royals go into the outing with a record of 2-8. Hopkins lost 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Maple Grove (Maple Grove, MN)

Next up, the Tigers play the Columbia Heights Hylanders (Columbia Heights, MN) in a non-league outing, on Monday, September 29. Fridley will attempt to improve on its 0-9 season record.
