The Stonington Bears triumphed over the visiting Killingly Trailbazers soccer squad by a margin of 5-0 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Bears now hold a 5-1 record. They play next when they host East Lyme for a Eastern Connecticut II bout on Saturday, September 27. Stonington will play a Vikings squad coming off a 7-0 non-league win over New London (New London, CT). The Vikings record now stands at 8-0.
With the loss, Killingly moves to 3-4 on the year. The Trailbazers host St. Bernard (Uncasville, CT) to play the Saints in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 27. The Saints go into the bout with a record of 2-2.
