The Mullen Mustangs soccer squad scored 5 points and held the host Overland Trailblazers to 0 in the Mustangs league victory on Thursday.

The Mustangs now have a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grandview for a 5A/4A Centennial contest on Tuesday, October 7.

The Trailblazers (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Cherry Creek (Greenwood Village, CO). The Bruins enter the 5A/4A Centennial contest with a 9-0 record. In their last contest, Cherry Creek held off Pine Creek (Colorado Springs, CO), 3-0, in a non-league contest.
