The Socorro Warriors soccer squad scored 2 points and held the visiting Rehoboth Christian Lynx to 1 in the Warriors non-league victory on Thursday.

The Warriors now possess a 4-7 record. They play next when they host Deming for a non-league game on Friday, September 26. Socorro will face a Wildcats team coming off a 6-4 non-league win over Alamogordo (Alamogordo, NM). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-7.

The Lynx (6-5) will now prepare for their game against Bosque (Albuquerque, NM). The Bobcats come into the A/3A District 1 game with a 5-5 record. In their last game, Bosque was nipped by Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM), 9-0, in a non-league game.
