Nebraska High School Softball - Auburn edges Syracuse

September 25, 2025: Syracuse, NE 68446

In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Auburn Bulldogs softball team scored a tight 15-13 victory over the Syracuse Rockets.

The Bulldogs (15-6) will now prepare for their match against Mercy (Omaha, NE). The Monarchs go into the non-league game with a 6-18 record. In their last game, Mercy by Skutt Catholic (Omaha, NE), 22-8, in a non-league game.

The Rockets now hold a 5-17 record. They play next when they travel to Yutan-Mead for a non-league game on Saturday, September 27. Syracuse will play a Patriots squad coming off a 9-3 non-league win over Guardian Angels Central Catholic (West Point, NE). The Patriots record now stands at 15-3.
