Colorado High School Softball - Thornton bounces Overland

September 25, 2025: Aurora, CO 80012

The crowd at Thursday's non-league contest between the Thornton Trojans (Thornton, CO) and the host Overland Trailblazers (Aurora, CO), saw Thornton's softball squad beat Overland by a score of 8-0.

With the triumph, Thornton improves its record to 14-2 on the year. The Trojans host Adams City (Commerce City, CO) to face the Eagles in a 4A/3A Colorado contest on Monday, September 29. The Eagles enter the contest with a record of 5-9. Adams City won 17-5 in their recent non-league contest against Jefferson (Edgewater, CO)

The Trailblazers now hold a 6-3 record. They play next when they travel to Douglas County for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 27. Overland will battle a Huskies team coming off a 12-0 league loss to Chaparral (Parker, CO). The Huskies record now stands at 4-11.
