The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the Benson Tech Astros (Portland, OR) and the visiting Willamette Wolverines (Eugene, OR), saw Benson Tech's volleyball squad notch a victory over Willamette by a score of 3-0.

With the win, Benson Tech improves its record to 1-10 on the season. The Astros travel to McDaniel (Portland, OR) to encounter the Mountain Lions in a 6A Portland Interscholastic battle on Tuesday, September 30. The Mountain Lions go into the battle with a record of 8-5.

The Wolverines now own a 0-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Medford for a 6A Southwest contest on Tuesday, September 30. Willamette will battle a Black Tornado team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Ashland (Ashland, OR). The Black Tornado record now stands at 4-9.
