Nebraska High School Volleyball - Niobrara/Verdigre can't get by Bloomfield

Bloomfield Bees (Bloomfield, NE) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Niobrara/Verdigre Cougars (Niobrara, NE), 3-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Bloomfield advances its record to 8-5 on the season. The Bees travel to Plainview (Plainview, NE) to face the Pirates in a D1 District 3 test on Tuesday, September 30. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 8-4. Plainview lost 2-0 in their recent league challenge against Elgin/Pope John (Elgin, NE)

Next, the Cougars play the Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard] Bobcats (Clearwater, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 30. Niobrara/Verdigre will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a 4-13 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Wayne (Wayne, NE).
