Ohio High School Volleyball - Central Catholic over Bryan

Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Central Catholic Fighting Irish (Toledo, OH) and the visiting Bryan Golden Bears (Bryan, OH), observed Central Catholic's volleyball team top Bryan by a count of 3-0.

The Fighting Irish (3-10) will now prepare for their contest against Mercy (Farmington Hills, MI). The Marlins enter the non-league contest with a 16-2 record. In their last contest, Mercy notched a victory over Utica Eisenhower (Shelby Township, MI), 2-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Golden Bears battle the Van Wert Cougars (Van Wert, OH) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 27. Bryan will attempt to move on its 5-13 season record. The Cougars enter the contest with a 0-15 record after their 3-1 league loss to Memorial (St. Marys, OH).
