Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Christ Episcopal School Wildcats (Covington, LA) and the host Cabrini Crescents (New Orleans, LA), observed Christ Episcopal School's volleyball team top Cabrini by a count of 3-0.

The Wildcats (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against Pine (Franklinton, LA). The Raiders enter the non-league contest with a 4-8 record. In their last contest, Pine notched a victory over Bogalusa (Bogalusa, LA), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Crescents battle the Abramson Commodores (New Orleans, LA) in a Division III District 8 battle, on Monday, September 29. Cabrini will attempt to improve on its 2-8 season record. The Commodores go into the battle with a 8-3 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Booker T. Washington (New Orleans, LA).
