In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Carver Collegiate Academy Rams volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Morris Jeff Pelicans.
The Rams (8-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Booker T. Washington (New Orleans, LA). The Lions come into the non-league challenge with a 5-3 record.
Next, the Pelicans meet the Cohen Green Hornets (New Orleans, LA) in a Division IV District 10 challenge, on Wednesday, October 1. Morris Jeff will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record. The Green Hornets come into the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to New Orleans Charter Science & Math (New Orleans, LA).
