Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Lewisburg Green Dragons (Lewisburg, PA) and the host Central Columbia Bluejays (Bloomsburg, PA), observed Lewisburg's volleyball team hold off Central Columbia by a tally of 3-2.

The Green Dragons (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Our Lady of Lourdes Regional (Coal Township, PA). The Red Raiders enter the non-league contest with a 0-10 record. In their last contest, Our Lady of Lourdes Regional was tipped by Pottsville (Pottsville, PA), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Bluejays encounter the Danville Ironmen (Danville, PA) in a PIAA District IV test, on Monday, September 29. Central Columbia will attempt to improve on its 2-9 season record. The Ironmen go into the test with a 7-2 record after their 3-0 league loss to Williamsport (Williamsport, PA).
