Pennsylvania High School Volleyball - Philipsburg-Osceola tips Clearfield

The crowd at Thursday's league battle between the Philipsburg-Osceola Mountaineers (Philipsburg, PA) and the visiting Clearfield Bison (Clearfield, PA), saw Philipsburg-Osceola's volleyball squad nudge Clearfield by a score of 3-2.

With the win, Philipsburg-Osceola improves its record to 13-7 on the season. The Mountaineers travel to Westmont Hilltop (Johnstown, PA) to encounter the Hilltoppers in a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 30. The Hilltoppers go into the battle with a record of 9-8. Westmont Hilltop won 3-0 in their recent league battle against Greater Johnstown (Johnstown, PA)

Next, the Bison meet the Hollidaysburg Golden Tigers (Hollidaysburg, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 29. Clearfield will attempt to upgrade on its 7-4 season record. The Golden Tigers enter the challenge with a 10-1 record after their 3-0 league win over Penns Valley Area (Spring Mills, PA).
