Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Tunkhannock Tigers (Tunkhannock, PA) and the host Dallas Mountaineers (Dallas, PA), observed Tunkhannock's volleyball team top Dallas by a count of 3-1.

The Tigers (10-3) will now prepare for their contest against Pittston (Pittston, PA). The Patriots enter the Wyoming Valley contest with a 2-2 record.

Next, the Mountaineers face the Susquehanna Sabers (Susquehanna, PA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, September 27. Dallas will attempt to improve on its 4-2 season record. The Sabers go into the test with a 5-7 record after their 3-0 league loss to Western Wayne (Lake Ariel, PA).
