Duanesburg Eagles (Delanson, NY) backers were pleased Thursday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host Loudonville Christian Eagles (Loudonville, NY), 3-1 in a league challenge.

The Eagles (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against La Salle Institute (Troy, NY). The Cadets come into the non-league challenge with a 7-3 record.

Next, the Eagles meet the Galway Golden Eagles (Galway, NY) in a Section 2 Western - Northern test, on Friday, September 26. Loudonville Christian will attempt to advance on its 0-9 season record. The Golden Eagles go into the test with a 13-2 record after their 3-0 league win over Middleburgh (Middleburgh, NY).
