The Menno Wolves volleyball squad (Menno, SD), was edged 3-2 in Thursday's league battle with the host Freeman Flyers (Freeman, SD)

The Flyers (12-4) will now prepare for their contest against Great Plains Lutheran (Watertown, SD). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 8-6 record. In their last contest, Great Plains Lutheran got by Waverly/South Shore (Waverly, SD), 3-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Wolves meet the Hill City Rangers (Hill City, SD) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 27. Menno will attempt to upgrade on its 1-13 season record. The Rangers go into the test with a 10-5 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Newell (Newell, SD).
