Fans at Thursday's league contest between the James River Midlothian Rapids (Midlothian, VA) and the host Huguenot Falcons (Richmond, VA), observed James River Midlothian's volleyball team top Huguenot by a count of 3-0.

The Rapids (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against Midlothian (Midlothian, VA). The Trojans enter the Dominion contest with a 10-0 record. In their last contest, Midlothian notched a victory over L.C. Bird (Chesterfield, VA), 3-0, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Falcons encounter the Manchester Lancers (Midlothian, VA) in a Dominion battle, on Tuesday, September 30. Huguenot will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record. The Lancers go into the battle with a 4-8 record after their 3-1 league loss to Monacan (Richmond, VA).
